These terms cover the 6-Week Kickstart and membership. Part 1 applies to everyone. Then read the part for what you have joined.
These terms apply to everyone visiting or training at TSC Training Studio, regardless of whether you are attending a trial session, completing a Kickstart programme, or holding an ongoing monthly membership. Our aim is to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive training environment for all members and coaches.
These terms are between you and Tristan Stowe Coaching Ltd, trading as TSC Training Studio ("we", "us"). We are registered in England and Wales, company number 12468944. Registered office: 8 John Fleming Close, Houlton, Rugby, CV23 1FD. Our studio is at KG Business Centre, Kingsfield Way, Dallington, Northampton, NN5 7QS. You can reach us at [email protected].
Exercise carries some risk. Before you start, you will complete a health questionnaire. Please answer it honestly and tell us about any injury, illness or change in your health while you train with us.
If you are unsure whether you are fit to train, check with your GP first. We may adjust your exercises or ask for medical clearance before you carry on.
Please do not come to a session if you are unwell with something like flu or a virus.
We will take reasonable care of you in every session. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights if we fall short.
We cannot start your training until you have completed your health questionnaire and consent form.
You can cancel or reschedule a session through our booking system up to 3 hours before it starts and keep the credit.
For early sessions, the hours between 11pm and 6am do not count towards that 3 hours. So for a 6am session, you need to cancel by 8pm the night before.
Late cancellations and no-shows lose the credit and cannot be rescheduled.
If you have a genuine emergency, tell us as soon as you can. We may return the credit, but that is our decision.
Sometimes we have to change session times or merge quieter sessions, for example because of coach availability, holidays or demand. We are closed on public holidays and will tell you the dates before you start.
We will give you as much notice as we can and help you find another session. You will not lose a credit because of a change we make. If we cancel a session and cannot offer you a suitable alternative, we will extend your Kickstart, carry the credit into your next membership cycle, or refund the value of that session.
If we need to close the studio for a week or more, for example because of staff absence or holidays, we will give you at least 14 days' notice where we can. Members can freeze their membership for the length of the closure.
Treat other members, our coaches and the equipment with respect. If you are rude or aggressive, or you damage equipment, we may end your Kickstart or membership without refunding the time or sessions you have left. You may need to pay for any damage you cause.
We cannot take responsibility for lost or stolen belongings, and vehicles are parked at your own risk, unless we caused the loss.
We love showing what our members achieve. We may take photos and videos of sessions and track your progress. With your permission, we may use them to promote the studio. We ask you in person at your intro assessment and record your answer. You can say yes, yes with your face kept out of shot, or no. Any answer is fine.
If you say yes, we may use your photos, videos, progress results and testimonials on our website, social media, email campaigns and adverts. This can include photos and videos of training sessions, written testimonials, before and after photos, and details of your health and fitness progress. We only use your name, results and before and after photos if you have specifically agreed to that. We train in a small room, so you may appear in the background while we film other members. If you have said no, we won't post you.
You can change your mind or ask for changes at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will stop using your content and take it down from our own channels, though we cannot remove copies other people have already shared. We look after all photos, videos and progress data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Your data: how we look after your personal information is in our Privacy Policy.
Complaints: if something has gone wrong, email [email protected]. We will reply within 7 working days and do our best to put it right.
Changes: the terms you accept at sign-up apply to your Kickstart, and later updates apply to new sign-ups only. For members, we will email you at least 30 days before any change takes effect. If you do not agree to a change, you can cancel and the old terms keep applying to you until your membership ends.
Your rights: nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Law: English law applies. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
The 6-Week Kickstart costs £299. Pay in full, or Pay In 3: £99 today, then £100 at seven days and £100 at twenty-one days after your first session.
It is a one-off programme. It does not turn into a membership unless you choose that.
Your session credits need to be used within the 6 weeks and expire after. Cancel at least 3 hours before a session and you can use the credit to book another one. Cancel later, or miss it, and the credit is lost. For early sessions you need to cancel the evening before (see section 3).
Our money-back guarantee has conditions. They are in section 11.
The full Kickstart terms follow. Please read them before you sign up.
The 6-Week Kickstart is a one-off small group personal training programme. It runs for 6 weeks from the date of your first training session. It includes a set number of session credits, an intro assessment, nutrition guidance and resources, and a final progress check-in.
It is not a membership and it does not renew. You must be 18 or over to join.
The Kickstart costs £299. You can pay in one of two ways:
Pay in full: £299 when you sign up.
Pay In 3: £99 when you sign up, then £100 on day 7 and £100 on day 21. Day 1 is the date of your first session. The total is still £299, with no interest and no extra charges.
Payments are taken by card through Stripe. If you choose Pay In 3, you agree that we can take the two later payments automatically from the card you used at sign-up. We never see or store your full card details.
Pay In 3 spreads the cost. It does not change what you owe. If you stop attending, you still owe the full £299.
If a payment fails, we will email you and try again. If it still fails, we may pause your bookings until it is sorted. We do not charge late fees.
Your session credits are valid for the 6 weeks of the programme.
Unused credits expire at the end of the 6 weeks. They cannot be carried over, transferred or refunded, apart from the cases in section 4 and section 11.
If you are ill or have a genuine emergency, tell us. We may agree to extend your programme. This is not guaranteed and we decide case by case.
If you have a holiday during your 6 weeks and you notify us at the beginning we'll normally extend your Kickstart by a week.
Where stated at the point of sale, the 6-Week Kickstart includes a money-back guarantee. If you meet the conditions below and do not get a measurable result, we will refund the programme fee in full.
To qualify, you must:
Complete the full 6-week programme.
Attend at least 90% of the total PT sessions in your 6-week kickstart.
Complete both your intro assessment and your final progress check-in.
Follow the recommended training, nutrition and accountability actions we set to a reasonable standard throughout the programme.
Send us your claim in writing within 7 days of the programme ending.
What counts as a measurable result? At least one measurable improvement in any progress marker we record at your starting assessment and final check-in, or in your training that we have seen in your sessions, such as lifting heavier, doing more reps or better fitness. Markers may include strength performance, body weight, body measurements, body fat percentage and muscle mass. We will note what we have seen at your final check-in.
The guarantee does not apply if you do not complete the full programme, attend fewer than 90% of sessions, miss the required assessments, or do not follow the agreed plan to a reasonable standard.
Nothing happens automatically. If you want to carry on, you will choose a membership and agree to the membership terms in Part 3 at that point. Offers and promotions on the Kickstart do not apply to membership unless we say so.
If you sign up online, by phone or on a video call, you can cancel your Kickstart within 14 days of signing up, for any reason. If you sign up in person at the studio, this right does not apply, but the money-back guarantee in section 11 and your other legal rights still do. Email us at [email protected] and say you want to cancel.
If you start your Kickstart within the 14 days and then cancel, we will take off a fair amount for what you have already used. We work that out by weeks, because the programme includes more than sessions: each week of the programme that has started counts as a full week, out of 6, multiplied by £299. So if you cancel in week 2, we keep 2 weeks' worth. We will refund the rest to the card you paid with within 14 days, and cancel any Pay In 3 payments still to come.
Membership is billed every 28 days by card or bank account. You pay when you join, then every 28 days after that.
Standard membership has a minimum of 3 full 28-day cycles, and you can give 8 weeks' notice at any time, including during those first 3 cycles. Your membership ends at the later of the two. Flexible membership has no minimum and no notice period.
Your credits expire and renew every 28-day cycle aligned with your billing. Credits are not rolled over. See section 16 and pauses are in section 17 for exceptions.
The full membership terms follow. Part 1 applies to you as well.
There are two types of membership. Standard has a minimum commitment of 3 full 28-day cycles, plus 8 weeks' notice to cancel. Section 18 explains how the two work together. Flexible has no minimum commitment and no notice period. Both are recurring subscriptions.
We confirm your type, credits and fee in writing when you sign up. Every other term applies to both types unless it says otherwise.
You can switch type by giving us written notice. Flexible to Standard starts from your next billing date. Standard to Flexible starts once you have finished your minimum commitment and notice period. You pay the fee for the type you are on.
You pay your first fee when you join. Your second payment is taken 28 days later, and then every 28 days until you cancel. Payments come from the debit card, credit card or bank account you give us.
Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Failed or overdue payments must be cleared before you book more sessions, and before we can process a cancellation.
We review prices once a year: Increases are between 3% and 6%, to cover rising costs and improvements to the studio. We will tell you in writing at least 30 days before. If an increase would start during your notice period, you keep paying the old price until your membership ends.
Each 28-day cycle gives you your membership credits. They are valid only in that cycle.
Unused credits do not carry over and are not refundable. Membership is built around steady weekly attendance, and this keeps access fair for everyone. Please plan ahead to make the most of your sessions.
There are two exceptions. Each carries a maximum of 2 credits into the next cycle:
Studio closure: if we are closed on a date you were booked, including public holidays and temporary closures, up to 2 affected credits can be carried over to the next 28-day cycle.
Illness or emergency: if unforeseen illness or an emergency stops you training, we may carry up to 2 credits over. This is not automatic and we may ask for supporting information.
Planned time away, such as holidays, is covered in section 17 instead.
No more than 4 credits in total can be carried into any one 28-day cycle, including any banked under section 17. Carried credits depend on availability, must be used within that cycle and cannot be carried over again.
If illness or injury keeps you away for more than 4 weeks, tell us as soon as you can. We may agree a longer pause, with the option to resume when you are ready. We will agree any credit arrangement in writing, and you will need to use those credits within a set period once you are back.
You can pause your membership for up to 2 weeks in any rolling 12 months. The 12 months run from your membership start date.
A pause is taken in full weeks. For each week paused, your fee and your session credits for that cycle both reduce by 25%. Your billing date does not change. Depending on when the pause falls, the reduction may apply to the cycle before or after your time away.
Please ask us in writing at least 14 days before the pause starts.
Sessions removed by a pause cannot be used during the pause and do not roll over.
Once you have used your 2 weeks, any further time away in that 12 months does not reduce your fee. Instead, unused sessions from that period may be banked into your next 28-day cycle, up to 4 sessions. You must use them in that cycle, and then they expire.
Please tell us in advance. Banking is not automatic, and requests made after the credits have been missed may not be granted.
How to cancel: Flexible members can cancel through their account. Standard members must use the official TSC Cancellation Request Form linked here, because notice periods apply. We cannot process cancellations made verbally, by text or on social media, but we are always happy to send you the form.
After you cancel: you can keep training until the end of your final paid period. Fees are not refunded if you choose not to attend during that time.
Standard membership: you can give notice at any time, including during your minimum commitment. Your membership ends at the later of:
◦ The end of your third full 28-day cycle; or
◦ The end of the second 28-day cycle that starts after you submit the form, which is always at least 8 weeks away.
For example, if you submit the form 10 days before your next billing date, you are billed in 10 days and again 28 days after that. Your membership then ends.
Example 1: you join and give notice during your first 28 days. You pay for 3 cycles in total and your membership ends at the end of the third.
Example 2: you have been a member for 6 months and give notice. You pay your next two billings and your membership ends at the end of the second, at least 8 weeks after you gave notice.
Flexible membership: there is no notice period. Your membership ends at the end of the 28-day cycle you have already paid for. To stop the next payment, we need the form at least 7 days before your next billing date. If it arrives later, the next payment is taken and your membership ends at the close of that cycle. This cut-off is there so we can stop payments in time. It is not a notice period.
Rejoining: Flexible members who cancel can rejoin at any time, subject to availability and the fee at that date. We do not hold places open after a membership ends.
Leaving a Standard membership early: if you have a serious illness or injury that stops you training, move more than 10 miles away, or face genuine financial hardship, we may review your request case by case. We will ask for evidence, such as a doctor's note, proof of your new address or financial evidence.
